Sets & Operations
Set theory provides the foundational language for all of mathematics. A set is a well-defined collection of distinct objects, and the basic operations โ union, intersection, complement, and power set โ allow us to construct new sets from existing ones.
The Zermelo-Fraenkel axioms formalize what sets can exist, avoiding paradoxes like Russell's while providing the building blocks for all mathematical structures.
